Carrefour de l’eau - Integrated Water Hub
The Carrefour de l'eau, a collaborative hub, aims to put Quebec City on the map in the field of water-related technologies. Located at the shore of the Saint-Laurence River, a water treatment plant connected to the municipality facility will supply surrounding industries with recycled water for their industrial processes, thus saving drinking water. A mobile unit will serve as a demonstration of the technology before the building of the treatment facility.
As the project aims to foster innovation in the water sector by bringing under the same roof various experts and resources to create cutting-edge water-related technologies, attendees will be able to evaluate the role of innovative projects like the Carrefour de l'eau in advancing a city's expertise in environmental technologies and discuss the importance of water recycling, treatment, and sanitation in the context of sustainable urban development.
