Global maps of potable reuse - new entries, new data!
Presentation Time: 01:30 PM - 01:55 PM
The global potable reuse maps developed by Water Services Association of Australia with the support of the WateReuse Association, have become a ground-breaking education and engagement tool used by water providers all around the world. They highlight the large and growing potable reuse community, stretching over more than 35 cities, 10 countries and serving 30 million people. Since they were released to last year, multiple new cities in America and elsewhere have joined the map to tell their potable reuse story.
This presentation will profile all new entries to the map in the year since they were published, present the global statistics, and highlight new data showing what percentage of the community's water is reuse, and the intermittency of their operations.
