Public Officials & Senior Management Roundtable – Leveraging Investments in a One Water World
Presentation Time: 03:30 PM - 04:15 PM
Water utilities face pressure to manage investments to meet increasing demand and regulatory compliance. The One Water approach values all water, fostering recovery and revitalization. This roundtable is for invited elected officials and senior managers involved in potable reuse projects. They can participate in or observe discussions on practical ways to link One Water/Water Reuse solutions for accomplishing more with their future water investments.
Moderated by Mark Millan (Data Instincts) and Vijay Sundaram (AECOM), the two-hour session includes interactive discussions, questions, viewpoints, and a private reception. Unlike typical panels, this format encourages active participation and rapid peer-to-peer exchanges on key topics related to implementing potable reuse projects.
Optimizing capital investments by identifying synergies between water, wastewater, stormwater, and other streams is essential due to regulatory requirements, aging infrastructure, and other factors. Wastewater effluent is an underutilized resource, and reuse is vital to maximize available water resources.
