Verónica García Molina holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Barcelona (Spain), a MSc. in Chemical Engineering from the same institution and a MSc. in Chemistry from the Lappeenranta University of Technology in Finland. She is a professional with 20 years of experience in the water sector, covering multiple technologies, Ion Exchange Resins, Reverse Osmosis, Nanofiltration and Ultrafiltration among others and with expertise in several industries and markets, Municipal and Desalination, Industrial, Wastewater and Energy, including developing segments such as Green Hydrogen and Lithium and more established sectors such as Nuclear.
In 2025, Verónica joined Xylem’s Growth and Innovation team as Senior Director, High Growth Verticals. In this role, she is responsible for developing and implementing the enterprise Strategy for the Wastewater and Food & Beverage sectors.

Flemming B. Bjoernslev is Danish American and seasoned global chemical industry executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience across Europe, Latin America, and North America. A graduate of the University of Applied Sciences in Essen, Germany, he began his career with Bayer AG before joining Lanxess AG, where he served as President & CEO of Lanxess Corporation (North America) from 2012 to 2015. Since then, he has held advisory and board positions with international companies, including CFOAM and Virgo Investment Group. Most recently, he was Executive Commercial Director at Anson Resources, where he led the commercialization of critical minerals from the flagship A1 Lithium project in the Paradox Basin, Southern Utah. He now serves as Senior Vice President Market Development at Aquatech International, focusing on market development in water treatment, critical minerals, and rare earth elements.

José Díaz-Caneja holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from Madrid Polytechnic University and an MBA from IESE Business School.
With comprehensive experience in the infrastructure sector, in both publicly and privately financed projects, and after having worked in large infrastructure groups in Latin America and Spain, he joined ACCIONA Agua International Business Development Department in 2002. In 2007 he joined ForoPPP Infraestructuras – a private PPP institution – as Managing Director for a 4-year period, and in 2011 he re-joined ACCIONA Agua as Middle East and Africa Development Director, becoming ACCIONA Water Division CEO in December 2013.
In December 2023 he has been appointed CEO of Acciona Infrastructure division, which covers de water, civil and industrial construction activities, and the infrastructures concessions businesses.

Dusun Kim is dedicated to advancing sustainable water and energy solutions, with a strong focus on Salinity Gradient Energy (Blue Energy) and industrial water reuse. His work centers on developing integrated Circular Economy systems that combine Reverse Electrodialysis (RED), Forward Osmosis (FO), Membrane Distillation (MD), and brine mining to reduce energy consumption, recover valuable resources, and minimize environmental impact. These systems are designed to support low-carbon or near-zero-emission water reuse and desalination infrastructure for industrial applications. He focuses on translating advanced technologies into practical, scalable solutions that enhance operational resilience, ESG performance, and long-term sustainability across global markets.
Jason Morrison

Jason Morrison joined the Pacific Institute in 1993 and became its president in October 2016. As president, he oversees the Institute and its activities, focusing on broadening and amplifying the organization’s reach and impact.
Additionally, Jason serves as the Head of the CEO Water Mandate, an initiative of the United Nations Global Compact, and has supported the initiative since 2008 with applied research, event organization, and other services. He is also a co-founder of the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS), a global initiative that has developed and is now implementing a freshwater certification program to advance responsible water practices by water providers and large-scale users.
